The UK airline is introducing free high-speed onboard wifi by way of space-based deal
Passengers aboard the airline can soon enjoy high-speed connectivity during flights at no cost due to a major deal involving Elon Musk's space company.
Complimentary and Fast Internet Available to Everyone
The carrier revealed that the no-cost, “reliable and lightning-fast” wifi provision from the satellite provider becomes offered for travelers in economy, business, or first class as of soon.
Widespread Implementation Over Multiple Flight Operators
The umbrella organization for the airline, the airline group, stated it had secured an partnership involving the satellite firm for providing wifi coverage for over 500 planes across the group's operators, such as Aer Lingus, the Spanish carrier, and Vueling.

BA explained that this introduction of this technology was included in a £7bn “transformation” program and would provide smooth wifi service to passengers starting at boarding to landing, including when in flight over seas or far-off locations.
